Internet Australia, the peak body representing Internet users, has called for bipartisan support for the startup sector in the light of today’ “policy hack” organised by Federal Assistant Minister for Innovation Wyatt Roy.

CEO Laurie Patton has written an ‘open letter’ to participants urging them to coordinate their future efforts and offering to provide Internet Australia’s support and assistance.

Mr Patton told participants of #policyhack: “We need to make this a bipartisan issue. Otherwise every time the government changes the rules will change. Policy uncertainty is the kiss of death for innovation.
